Brief Description

We are looking to recruit teachers in various subjects, to join our innovative private education Academy. Ideal candidates must have excellent and properly evidenced experience of teaching at Primary, Secondary or High School levels. They must also be able to demonstrate prior ability to teach at levels that enable students to obtain the best grades in examinations. We are currently accepting applications from candidates who are qualified in teaching any of the following subjects:

General Purpose

• To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
• Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
• Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive online learning
• Creating and distributing educational content online and face to face.

Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Use relevant technology to support, instruct and monitor students in the use of online learning materials and IT and ICT equipment
• Plan, prepare, and deliver educational activities that facilitate active online learning experiences
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans to be delivered online
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Prepare the online classroom for class activities such as student participation
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments
• Provide appropriate feedback on work and online updates
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies, and school regulations
• Prepare required reports on students and activities
• Manage student behavior in the online and physical classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
• Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary
• Perform certain pastoral duties including student support, counseling students with academic problems, and providing student encouragement
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs, and student organizations
• Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs
• Keep updated with developments in given subject areas, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities

Requirements

• Sound computer knowledge and skills
• Fluent English speaker
• Proven experience as a teacher
• Ability to teach at least two subjects
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the ExpertEase Academy’s policies and procedures
• Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized, punctual, and committed
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR
• Degree in Teaching or Diploma in Education
